Single Issues

May involve restoring or replacing a single tooth or possibly several teeth into the existing bite to improve aesthetics and function. It usually involves blending the restorations to match the shape and colour of the surrounding teeth. Some people will pre-bleach their surrounding teeth to whiten their smile prior to restoration.

Complex Issues (Full Mouth Reconstruction)

Where there is extensive breakdown of multiple teeth due to wear, erosion or decay and/or multiple missing teeth requiring replacement, rather than continuing to waste time and money on in-effective “patch-up” solutions, a more comprehensive treatment approach is indicated.

Complex problems require a deeper understanding of many inter-related issues - Health, Function, Occlusion and Aesthetics.

Blending science and art, Dr Andrew Dillon as a Specialist Prosthodontist has the skills, training and experience to provide predictable outcomes in the most challenging and demanding situations.

Treatment Modalities

Procedures to improve appearance and/or rebuild teeth may include: Tooth Whitening, Direct and Indirect Composite Bonding, Bonded Porcelain Veneers, Bonded Porcelain Inlays and Onlays and All Ceramic Crowns (e.max or Zirconia).

Procedures to replace missing teeth may include: Dental Bridges, Dental Implants and Removable Dental Plates which may be retained by implants or natural teeth.

We work closely with a dedicated TEAM of other Dental Specialists such as Orthodontists, Gum Specialists, Endodontists and Oral Surgeons where complex interdisciplinary treatment is required.
